California will soon issue licenses for cars without a driver.

California lawmakers themselves take cars seriously, asleep at the wheel of the autonomous vehicles already in the place regulations which forbid the people. And Golden State have to think that the future close enough; It begins issuing permits for cars without driver in September, so they carry on travel on roads and highways the strict requirements of the DMV made available.

The California DMV will give $ 150 Lizenzen--vehicles self-propelled, assuming that the test drivers are used by the manufacturer and have the appropriate license. Oh, and they need to have insurance for 5 million $. Manufacturers may apply for a license by July, but they are not effective 16 September. The new legislation seems almost tailor-made for Google, headquartered in the State, but Ford and many other companies, which is also expected to benefit. 0 comments to share
