Deezer's redesigned its web interface to look more like a tablet app

Excited to take advantage of Deezer's ad-free desktop streaming, but prefer the look of the service's tablet app? You're in luck: the company just gave its web interface a visual overhaul, conveniently inspired by its own tablet interface. The new design puts music discovery front and center, replacing the current header with a prompt for Flow, the service's recommendation engine. The updated UI also redesigns the sidebar to grant faster access to Deezer's basic features and adds more feedback options for for liking or disliking suggested music. Interested? Log in to your Deezer account and check it out --the new look should be live today.

NVIDIA's Shield tablet leaks with Tegra Note styling

BYBilly Steele @wmsteele9 hours ago

We've been hearing rumblings about NVIDIA's slate-style Shield successor, and now we have a face to go with the info. Thanks to noted leaker @evleaks, we're given a glimpse of the gaming tablet's front side. From the looks of it, speakers line the top and bottom (or left and right in landscape) of the display with what appears to be a front-facing camera as well. All told, the gunmetal gray color scheme drapes a design that resembles last year's Tegra Note. As far as internals go, previous rumblings point to 7.9-inch screen with 2GB of RAM and a quad-core Tegra K1 CPU, complete with Unreal Engine 4 abilities. What remains to be see is if that controller we got a peek at a while back is an accessory to wrangle traditional controls or if the new NVIDIA slate will also double as a home console for PC title streaming. We shouldn't' have to wait long for a proper introduction though, as the company has already hinted that the official reveal will happen before the end of 2014.

AT&T's prepaid GoPhone service now gets your tablet online

AT&T may want to think twice about the name for its prepaid GoPhone service -- it's not just for phones anymore. You can now bring your own tablet to the no-contract offering, with pricing similar to what we've seen on the carrier before. Spending $15 per month will get you a (frankly paltry) 250MB of data, while bumping that up to $30 or $50 will get you a far healthier 3GB or 5GB, respectively. Should you need more, you'll pay for it in $10 blocks that give you 100MB, 500MB or 1GB, depending on the existing plan.

Just don't expect to connect any cellular tablet you have on hand. Right now, AT&T is only promising compatibility with a handful of mostly older devices; while the Nexus 7 is still fresh, tablets like the third-generation iPad and Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 are decidedly behind the curve. If you've been meaning to get mobile data going on an older slate before you head out on vacation, though, this may fit the bill.

Microsoft announces his Tablet is still important 12-inch Surface Pro 3

When Microsoft invited us, a "small hit" here in New York City, we thought that meant a smaller cutout mini was armored in order. Instead, the company has announced a larger surface area, the Surface Pro 12 inch 3. Like the previous Surface Pro pen input, supports a good choice for creative professionals, especially with this screen of 2,160 x 1,440 opaque pixels. In addition to the largest that most high-res surface again, this is however also she thinnest ever produced with an Intel Core i7 processor. Ultimately, that measures the thing just 9.1 mm (0.36 inches) thick, which tied with one iPad more older-Gen - incredibly, if you think that it is more a Ultrabook than a tablet. Surface Pro 3

Samsung's next Android tablet looks like a supersized Galaxy S5

Samsung has already launched a cavalcade of new Android tablets this year, but it looks like the company isn't quite done yet. SamMobile claims to have the first photos of the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, a recently rumored Android design that would mark Samsung's return to slates with OLED displays. As the name suggests, it would have a 10.5-inch, 2,560 x 1,600 AMOLED panel that promises higher contrast and bolder colors than an LCD; there's reportedly an 8.4-inch equivalent in the works, too.

However, the hardware surrounding that display may be as much of an attention-getter. Where the Tab Pro range aped the Galaxy Note 3, the Tab S looks like a Galaxy S5 writ large -- you'd get the same dimpled plastic back and, apparently, the same fingerprint sensor. Connectors on the back also hint at a possible smart screen cover. About the only disappointment may be the performance, since there's talk of the Tab S carrying the same 1.9GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor that we saw in the Tab Pro early this year. Assuming the leak is accurate, the biggest mystery may be when this (mostly) upgraded device hits store shelves. 0 Comments Share

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet draws a new 10-inch in Australia

Online shops have been alluding that Lenovo is working on a 10-inch Tablet ThinkPad 8 counterpart, and now there is no doubt: the Australian branch of the company has registered a 10 ThinkPad before an official announcement. A product page was available only a short time, it was enough to demonstrate that the Board of the new Windows shares much with his brother. You will find a slightly faster 1.6 GHz quad-core Atom processor and up to 4 GB RAM, but it is still a screen of 1,920 x 1,200, up to 128 GB memory, a rear view camera 8 mega pixel camera and a front shooting game of 2 mega pixel. Not, that about the similarities between pinch models, as these ThinkPad-10 be still jumps and binds stronger than aging 2 Tablet ThinkPad.

Great advantages of ThinkPad 10 by his cousin 8 inch are likely to turn the additional equipment. What the 2 pill there are versions with LTE data promise and pen input. You have also the choice of a base station, a keyboard dock and a case of keyboard, your shelf, you should double as a workstation. Lenovo give not details of the release in its teaser, but an official symbol that a launch is just around the corner. We expect also a premium on the $399-ThinkPad-8 - additional display area and makes processing will not come cheap.
