BlackBerry's rebirth: how a fallen smartphone giant plans to remake itself

BlackBerry has stopped bleeding--officially, at least. In a memo leaked to Reuters, says CEO John Chen staff that three years of job losses are over, and that the former mobile legend can start building itself back up instead of to save what remains of her smartphone rich. But how did it at this point? And more importantly, how does it plan to bounce back in an era when even many of its corporate customers have moved to Android and iOS? As you will see below in our gallery, BlackBerry only gets at this point after some serious errors and painful decisions--but last appears to have a strategy that, while imperfect, at least one hard realities.
