Portable mode, finally returned to the line of code the ASUS PadFone

When we last with ASUS CEO Jerry Shen, the exec expressed his support to secure the keyboard dock on the PadFones, which would mean you get three factors-shape with a single product: a phone, a Tablet and a laptop computer. Now we have confirmed a leak, that there is no doubt in the works. Courtesy of an FCC document unearthed by our mobile friends of geeks, we're looking at a dock keyboard mobile ASUS (PF-06 or "TransBoard"), which uses Bluetooth, for a change, but as a physical home interface.

Judging by the fuzzy photograph and a width of 25cm is equivalent to, the dock seems to be for (and tested with laboratory) next X PadFone for AT & T. However, the absence of locking mechanism implies it could absorb other tablets from PadFone station of the same size, although it is not known, the adjustment would be safe.

More interesting still, it seems that, for reasons which keep the low weight of the quay, ASUS chose to leave, which means that you do not charge the phone and the tablet with the dock in the location, the bulky battery. Instead, you find a small cell 450mAh, the Bluetooth function and the multi-touch trackpad feeds, and you must load separately about the micro-USB port on the station. And of course there's no SD slot, so you assigned to the USB OTG, need for connecting a memory card.

Despite some missing features compared to the original keyboard dock, we are confident that you are always in the ears of fans by PadFone. We need to learn more on the Computex early next month, so stay tuned.
